    • At the Academy of Racing Science, we have partnered with the Boy Scouts of America to provide an exciting way for boys to earn electives, belt loops, badges and pins through our program. Committed to making an impact on the youth in our community, we offer Boy Scout programs with engaging activities that blend innovative racing technology with STEM education concepts – providing the science behind speed.
  • Artscope
    • Whether your troop members would like to earn a badge, do a Make and Take, create DIY swaps, or increase their artistic skills, we’ll host a workshop for your troop of up to 16 in our Cottage in Tower Grove Park. Or, for an additional fee, we can come to you!
  • Backyard Lifeguards
    • Club BYLG offers a variety of water safety and aquatic skills programs to boy scout and girl scout troops.
  • Bricks 4 Kidz
    • We partner with the Boy Scouts of America to offer Cub Scout workshops that fulfill elective requirements related to S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Bricks 4 Kidz can also provide specialized activities for your end-of-year Blue and Gold Banquet.

  • Cradle of Aviation Museum
    • The Cradle of Aviation joins in NASA’s support of Girls and Boy Scouts as part of the overall goal of engaging scouts in NASA missions and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects. All of the museum’s programs, led by screened, certified merit badge counselors, have been developed to meet this goal.

    • Introducing children to the wonders of wildlife and the places they call home is one of our great joys here at the Endangered Wolf Center. That’s why we’re excited to offer a number of programs to help Cub Scouts achieve their merit badges while enjoying the enriching experiences that come with them.

    • At its most basic level, humane education is teaching children to care for the animals that share our world – both in our homes and in our communities. It is about fostering attitudes of respect, responsibility and kindness – for animals and people alike! It’s fundamental purpose is to make the world a better place for all living creatures.

    • The Museum has a variety of programs, activities and badge work available for both male and female scouts of all ages. Both indoor and outdoor projects can be completed for badges and volunteer work within the facilities or for special events.
  • Missouri Botanical Gardens
    • We offer a variety of fun, nature-based experiences for Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts including Journey, badge and patch programs, merit badge skill centers, special events, sleepovers and outreach programs.

    • The National Museum of Transportation is committed to S.T.E.a.M. Learning. Plans are currently underway for new and exciting S.T.E.a.M. based Scout programs for the Fall of 2019.
  • Powder Valley Conservation Area
    • Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center is nestled within 112 acres of oak hickory forest in a quiet corner of a busy urban world. Our name comes from the historical use of the general vicinity for manufacture and storage of explosive powder used in the Civil War and World War II.

  • St. Louis Arch
    • As part of the national park system, Gateway Arch National Park and scouting naturally go together. Here, your troop can earn badges as they learn about St. Louis’ role in westward expansion, the abolition of slavery, and more.Register your troop for a variety of free programs and workshops offered by Gateway Arch National Park and led by National Park Service rangers. For reservations, call (877) 982-1410. Troop leaders can make reservations for programs year-round with at least 30 days’ notice. Approximately 50 minutes in length, each program highlights a different, age-appropriate theme. A minimum of six scouts is required, with a maximum of 30 scouts. If possible, we will place groups with less than six scouts with another group.

    • Various programs are available for the following ranks: Webelos: Forester, Geologist, Naturalist, Bear Cub: Sharing your World and Wildlife, Take Care of your Planet, Tying it all Up; Wolf Cub: Your Living World; Tiger Cub: Let's Go Outdoors
  • St. Louis History Museum
    • Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts are invited to participate in merit-assistance programs to complete badge requirements along with other scouts. These interactive programs are led by museum educators and draw on elements from the Missouri Historical Society (MHS) Collections and St. Louis history. With a 90-minute program format, there are numerous activities and opportunities for hands-on learning.
  • St. Louis Science Center
    • Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts have the opportunity to earn badges at the Science Center throughout the year with our Scout workshops.
  • St. Louis Zoo
    • If our Adventure Workshop dates don’t work with your schedule then set up a private adventure program. These programs will complete the entire adventure and will also get you a more personal experience as your own instructors lead you through all your requirements. Adventures Offered: Tigers - Backyard Jungle; Wolves - Digging in the Past; Bears - Fur, Feather and Ferns; Webelos - Into the Wild
  • The Green Center
    • Founded in 1998, the Green Center is a natural oasis in the heart of the St. Louis metropolitan region. The center is headquartered in a residence built in 1932 and is located in Kaufman Park, University City, Missouri. The heart of the Green Center is its outdoor spaces which include a nature explore classroom, learning and demonstration gardens on the headquarters' grounds; a half-acre prairie within a short walk of the headquarters; a half-acre Missouri wetland and the 26-acre Ruth Park Woods. We encourage visitors to explore the Green Center's outdoor spaces on their own or take advantage of our classes, guided field trips, spring and summer youth camps, scout badge programs, and service learning and volunteer opportunities.
  • The Magic House
    • Scouts are invited to troop over to The Magic House for their next camping adventure! On select evenings, scouts can camp in the great indoors and have The Magic House all to themselves as they explore the Museum after dark, take part in fun activities, sleep “under the exhibits” and more! Scouts can also work toward badges during any visit to The Magic House; programs offered are available for Tigers, Wolf, Bear and Webelo Cub Scouts.
  • Thomas F Eagleton Federal Courthouse and Judicial Learning Center
    • Courthouse Tours are available for GROUPS OF 10 OR MORE. Tours can help you meet one or more requirements of the following badges: Cub Scout Belt Loop and Academic Pin - "Citizenship" and Webelos Activity Badge - "Citizen"

    • Want to earn a badge? Badge programs are available for Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. Scouts spend 20-30 minutes doing activities with a Naturalist, then finish requirements on-site with their leader.
